Chinese Tatami

Our Chinese Tatami are made in China of native good quality rice straw formed into straw board and with a fine Lin straw mat surface. They are sterilized, steamed and processed with a special recipe. Our Tatami are green products, natural yet durable. They can be used for flooring, sleeping sitting and much more. They are warm in winter and cool in summer. In humid climates they are very comfortable to sleep on. They are not so soft nor are they so hard when you lie or sit on them. They are very comfortable to walk on. They allow for maximum space use in small spaces. They can be made in a variety of sizes to fit any room. Normal mattress sizes are: Width: 30cm to 96cm, Length: 40cm to 210cm, Thickness: 3.5cm, 4.5cm and 5.5cm. Common sizes are 90cm by 120cm by 5.5cm and 90cm by 200cm by 5.5cm.
